At our Reeperbahn Festival Focus Session last Thursday, it was announced for the first time that the German government is launching a new fund for the music industry of 2.5 billion euros.
This should also make it possible to realize concerts and festivals again that would otherwise not be economically viable due to capacity restrictions.
I am pleased that our event was able to contribute to opening up new perspectives in a tangible way.
The session in which Bettina Hagedorn (Parliamentary State Secretary in the first Ministry of Finance) made the news public, can be viewed on our conference platform and now also on our YouTube channel.
The content of the entire programme can be accessed on our platform in the media library along with around 100 other sessions on the topics of Live Music, Recorded Music, Marketing, Creative Tomorrow and Engage!
The next Focus Session is already in preparation and will be about the consequences of Brexit for the music industry.
