Music is our Business

With Brexit in sight, the European music industry is expecting another backlash in uncertain times. As rules and conditions still are unclear, we are catching up with a focus session on Tuesday, 19 January, evaluating the topic of "Brexit - What's the deal?".
The focus session will be held in English, investigating the practical implications coming along with Brexit for live and recorded music, as well as an update on tax and toll issues between the UK and the EU.

The first speakers to be announced are Julia Frank (Senior Executive Manager Touring, Wizzard Promotion, DE), Dick Molenaar (Managing Director, All Arts Tax Advisers, NL), Kevin Offer (Tax Advisor, Hardwick & Morris LLP, UK), James Wright (Booker, United Talent, UK) as well as Tom Kiehl (Deputy CEO & Director of Public Affairs, UK Music, UK).

The focus session is an extended follow up on the Brexit panel "Unfck Brexit" at the digital edition of the upcoming Eurosonic Noorderslag Festival on 15 January (11:00 am) and is presented by MusikWoche and ESNS.

By the way: For all of you who are registered for our digital conference platform, we are providing extended access until 30 June 2021.
