Music is our Business

Dear reader,

We'll be talking about the future of music journalism in Germany at our next Focus Session on 2 September 2021 with some of the most influential voices on the scene today. You can find the whole programme here in our newsletter and of course on our conference platform

Speaking of music journalism: the jury of the International Music Journalism Award has met and compiled the most worth hearing and seeing contributions about music that could be found in the media last year. The shortlists for all 13 categories are available here. We will announce the winners on 23 September 2021.
We are looking forward to more great topics and strong speakers from the live business at the conference in four weeks. Anders Wahren (Roskilde Festival), Codruta Vulco (Artmania), Stephan Thanscheidt (FKP Scorpio), Nastassia Roberts (Dreamhouse) or Beckie Sudgen (ICM Partners) will talk about the current situation and the perspectives for festivals, the agency business and the general transformation of the live biz.

And there is even more to discover in today´s newsletter: We announce the Anchor Jury and Nominees, tell you about the activites of our partner country Korea, and present the Wunderkinder - German Music Talents 2021.
