Dear Reader,

The conference programme is complete and we are looking forward to one of the strongest speaker line-ups ever. And with TuneCore CEO Andreea Gleeson, Apple's Head of HipHop Germany Aria Nejati or rap managers Lucas Teuchner and Laura Heid we welcome the final speakers. There are also new strong sessions on Mental Health, Immersive Sound and The Potential Of Creative Communities.

I would like to ask all conference delegates to log on to our digital conference platform now and set up their profile there to get in touch with other delegates. Since yesterday, the timetable with all sessions and many other exclusively digital programme items is also online.
Other programme highlights reported in today's newsletter include the Gender Equality Hub and the Training Day programme on the Saturday of the Festival.

Training Day

Promoting young talent isn’t just of huge importance in terms of live performers — there are also a lot of opportunities behind the scenes for young adults interested in entering the music business. This is precisely where the Reeperbahn Festival’s Training Day comes in, offering practical insights into the music business and even further training for young professionals.

On the Saturday of the festival in the Schmidt Theater, Schmidtchen and the Neo House in the Festival Village, the Training Day will offer an overview of the broad range of professional fields and different career paths offered by the music and entertainment sector. On top of a practical introduction to the different areas of the music domain, current topics such as streaming, digital music marketing and sustainability in the music business will be addressed in depth in numerous programme items for interested young adults and newcomers to the industry, presented in collaboration with partners such as the BIMM Institute, the DMV (German Music Publishers Association), the VUT (German Association of Independent Music Companies) and Music Declares Emergency

Artist Business Profile

More than 90 individual artists and bands from the Reeperbahn Festival line-up are looking for a label, publisher, management or promoter. You can find them in the Artist Business Profile. Get in touch and make deals!
